Do you install ductwork?

No. We are fabrication only. We build ductwork to your plans and you pick it up at our Brooklyn shop. This means we never compete with your installers and there is no conflict of interest.

What connection types do you fabricate?

We fabricate TDC (transverse duct connector), TDF (transverse duct flange), and slip & drive connections. We work down to 18 gauge galvanized steel.

How much does ductwork fabrication cost?

Our standard rate is $3.75 to $4.00 per pound for fabrication. Final pricing depends on the complexity of your job, connection types, and gauge requirements. Send us your plans for an exact quote.

Where are you located?

We are at 993 Grand Street in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY 11211. Pickup is available Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM. We have a forklift for loading.

What do I need to get a quote?

Send us your mechanical drawings (PDF preferred) or a detailed duct list with sizes, gauges, connection types, and quantities. Email plans to admin@metalmenmechanical.com or use our Get a Quote page. We typically respond within 24 hours.

Do you deliver?

Currently we are pickup only from our Brooklyn shop. We have a forklift to load your truck or van. Pickup hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM.

How fast can you turn around a job?

Turnaround depends on the scope of the job. We have capacity available now and can often start fabrication within days of receiving approved plans. Rush jobs may be accommodated — just ask when you send your plans.

How is the ductwork labeled?

Every piece is labeled by floor, zone, and system so your installers know exactly where it goes. Ductwork is bundled and organized for efficient jobsite installation.
